Unit finances typically involve two elements. FIRST is needed funds for direct unit operations and SECOND, donations through the council’s Friends of Scouting, FOS family campaign. Most other council fundraising activities have a shared profit percentage whereby the unit receives a portion and the council retains the balance once expenses of the activity have been paid. Below is a limited amount of information currently available to units.
