Financial Support

It is the mission, in part, of the Five Rivers Council to provide the opportunity to participate in Scouting programs to every young person who is eligible. However, in order to do so, we need to provide every aspect of program support, including funding.

We all know money is short these days, and in every unit there are Scouts and Venturers whose families can barely afford the membership, uniform and book costs. It is for that exact reason, we ask families who can participate in Family Friends of Scouting to give. Your gift keeps Scouting costs at a minimum, so everyone can participate.

Did you know that our Council spends approximately $155.00 per Scout and Venturer in program support?
