Council Eagle Dinner

Holiday Inn Riverview

Earning the Eagle Scout rank is one of the most exciting and proudest times of a Scout's life. A lot of effort and work went into earning the Eagle Scout award and that Scout and their family can be very proud of their accomplishments. The Five Rivers Council is also very proud of all of our Scouts achievements. The Eagle Scout rank is a goal of every Boy Scout, yet only four percent reach this goal! That makes them very special indeed!

The Five Rivers Council would like to honor them for this great accomplishment. Eagle Scouts and their families are invited to attend our Five Rivers Council Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. It will be held at the Holiday Inn Riverside, 760 East Water Street, Elmira, NY.

Current Eagle Scouts, mentors, and members of the Scouting family and Community are invited to join us in recognizing these Scouts on their accomplishment.

We will gather at 5:30 PM and will begin the dinner at 6:00 p.m. We have a superb recognition program and dinner planned for them and their family, guests and Scoutmaster. The Eagle Scouts will receive our special FRC shoulder patch during the ceremony.

Our guest speaker for this special evening will be Mark Kriebel.

Mark has a tireless record of serving youth.  A dedicated Rotarian since 1977, Mark has also served as President of Endwell Baseball, a founding Board member of Maine-Endwell Dollars for Scholars, and in the Boy Scouts of America, where he has served on the Board and as President of the Baden-Powell Council, President of Northeast Region Area 3, and on the National Council’s Executive Board of the Northeast Region. His work in scouting has earned him the triple crown of service awards: Silver Beaver (council), Silver Antelope (region) and the Silver Buffalo (national).  Mark graduated from Ithaca College with a BS in Communications and currently serves as the President of Arranged Sound Inc – MUZAK in Binghamton.  Mark and his wife Patricia are the proud parents of an Eagle Scout son and Silver Award daughter.
